Governor Tom Corbett last week announced the award of $20.4 million in federal tax credits and $8.5 million in federal PennHOMES funding for the construction of 24 affordable, multi-family housing developments in suburban and rural areas of Pennsylvania.

The tax credits are administered by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) and were approved by its board.
