PHFA Releases Final 2016 Qualified Allocation Plan

Welcome.Home.

Mission FirstThe evening of October 1, 2015, brought forth hundreds of community partners, funders, supporters, and community leaders in support of Mission First Housing Group at their “Welcome.Home.” event. Members of McKonly & Asbury’s Affordable Housing Team had the opportunity to attend. The Welcome. Home. event took place at World Café Live in Philadelphia. The festivities included food, drinks, and a silent auction. 100% of the net proceeds from the event will go directly to support housing and services for vulnerable populations.

The highlight of our evening was a video featuring “a day in the life of a Mission First resident.” The video captures the struggles of a homeless mother and the effects of homelessness on family life. Mission First Housing Group, through its multiple networks, was able to provide affordable housing to this mother who was running out of options. The video captures a glimpse into the work that goes on every day at Mission First. Click here to watch the video.
