Picnic at Mann Edge Terrace

On August 24, 2016, McKonly & Asbury had the privilege of hosting a picnic for the residents of Mann Edge Terrace in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Over two dozen residents participated, along with a few of the staff of SEDA-COG Housing Development Corporation, the developer/manager of the property.

Held on-site at the apartment building, the McKonly & Asbury team arrived with food and beverages for all. Lunch was followed by bingo, which seemed to be enjoyed by everyone.

While our team of accounting, tax, and consulting professionals are well known for their financial expertise serving affordable housing owners, it was great to interact with some of the individuals who benefit from the developments we provide services for. We talked to residents and asked what they liked best about living at Mann Edge Terrace and all of the residents we spoke with told us how secure they feel in their home and many indicated that they also enjoy the sense of community. We spoke with two residents who went to school together decades ago but had lost touch and reconnected as neighbors at Mann Edge Terrace!
